Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Usha and Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (BULMIM), New Delhi

Programme on the live Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan page:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management, full time, two years, six trimesters, AICTE approved, non-residential.
• Specialisations named: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Information Technology and Operations Management, and International Business. Students take any two.
• The February 2020 archive of the institute site listed four specialisations: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Information Technology and Operations Management. The live Bhavan page is the later list.

The February 2020 archive of the institute’s PGDM page says the minimum qualification is a graduation or equivalent degree recognised by the AIU, UGC, or AICTE, with at least 50 percent, or 45 percent for a reserved category.

It says candidates must have a valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA. Final-year students may apply and, if selected, must submit graduation proof within 90 days of the programme starting.

Shortlisting uses the entrance score and marks in class 10, class 12, and graduation, followed by group discussion and personal interview. The application fee printed there is Rs 1,100, non-refundable.

The same February 2020 archive says BULMIM grants a scholarship where class 10 is above 75 percent, class 12 is above 75 percent, and graduation is above 70 percent. The test column on that page prints both “percentile below 80” and “the candidate is in the top 20 percentile” on one line. Those two phrases are not reconciled on the page.

The scholarship is a 10 percent reduction in tuition fee in the first year. A student who receives it can get a 10 percent reduction in the second year if the first-year CGPA is 7.5. The page says the overall reduction comes to about Rs 50,000 for the two-year PGDM.

No placement percentage or CTC was printed on the live Bhavan page or on the archived pages that loaded. The institute site has a placements section, and that page did not load.

No closing percentile is printed. The February 2020 archive prints an eligibility minimum of 50 percent in graduation, or 45 percent for a reserved category.

The ranking field is blank. Neither the live Bhavan page nor the archived pages that loaded printed a ranking body, year, category, and rank or band together.

The annual field is blank. The February 2020 archive of the official PGDM page prints a two-year total for Batch 2018-20, not a current yearly fee. The live institute site did not load, so a later fee was not available. TOTAL PROGRAMME FEE for Batch 2018-20: Rs 6,00,000, plus a refundable security deposit of Rs 25,000. The total includes tuition, books, and reading material, and the page says a laptop is provided.

• Rs 1,50,000 plus the Rs 25,000 deposit at the admission offer.
• Rs 1,50,000 in the first week of December 2018.
• Rs 1,50,000 in the first week of July 2019.
• Rs 1,50,000 in the first week of December 2019.
