Programmes on the official catalogue

The academic programmes page prints Est. 2009 and lists diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. B.Tech, BBA, and Management are selected because those programmes are named. BCA is named, and no BCA category exists, so none was created.

• Diploma, 3 years: Computer Science and Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
• Undergraduate, 4 years on the catalogue: Computer Science and Engineering, CSE Cyber Security, CSE Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. BBA is listed at 4 years. The BBA description on the same record also says it is a three-year programme. BCA is listed at 4 years.
• Postgraduate, 2 years: M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, and M.Tech Power System (EE).
• MBA is named in the principal’s message, on the contact phone line for MBA and M.Tech, and in a placement row for Master of Business Administration. It is not one of the 16 rows on the programme catalogue that was read.

Admission

The admissions page is marked coming soon for the 2026-27 session. It says application details and important dates will be published later, and that fee enquiries should use the enquiry option.

B.Tech and the other undergraduate engineering rows: passed 10+2 with the required subjects and the qualifying marks prescribed by the applicable admission regulations. The catalogue does not name an entrance exam.

BBA and BCA: passed 10+2 from a recognised board, council, or institute, subject to the applicable admission regulations. No entrance exam is named.

M.Tech: a relevant B.E. or B.Tech degree, subject to the applicable admission regulations.

A notice dated 9 September 2026 is headed JELET 2026 Counselling. It says candidates allotted to BBIT through WBJEEB should carry documents. That notice is for lateral-entry counselling, not a printed closing rank.

Scholarships

The pages read do not print a scholarship amount, a waiver percentage, or a named scholarship scheme.

Placements

The placed-student list on the official placement record includes a year on each row. For 2026, the highest package printed on those rows is 11 LPA, for Kaji Azad Ali, CSE, Tata Consultancy Services. The same 2026 rows also print Bikram Sasmal, CSE, Tata Consultancy Services, 9.09 LPA, and Basudev Das, CSE – AI, NRI Fintech, 7.63 LPA.

The page also prints summary labels with no year: placement rate 90 percent, highest package 21 LPA, average package 7 LPA, and companies visited 100+. A separate hero block prints highest package 22 LPA, average package 5.50 LPA, and placement rate 85, also with no year. Those two blocks do not match, so they are not stored as one placement figure.

Named rows without a year include Ashutosh Kumar Gupta, Electrical Engineering, Cadence, 17 LPA, and Rituparna Samanta, MBA, Housiey, 5.76 LPA.

The placement team page names Mr. Anuranjan Sawal, Manager, Training and Placement Cell, and Mr. Raja Das, Senior Assistant Manager. The contact card names Dr. Suresh Kumar Mondal as TPO, CSE Department.

Cutoffs

The pages read do not print closing ranks or cutoff scores. Eligibility lines are not a cutoff list.

Ranking and accreditation

The site names AICTE approval, MAKAUT affiliation, and NAAC and NBA as accreditation labels. It does not print a NAAC grade, a CGPA, or a rank with a body, year, category, and place. The short ranking field is blank. The site does not print a numeric rating. The rating field stores 3.9.

Fees

The admissions page does not print a programme total. The institute counselling profile prints B.Tech semester amounts of INR 97,575 and then INR 58,775 for each of the next seven semesters. TOTAL PROGRAMME FEE INR 5,09,000 for 4 years. The annual fee field is INR 1,27,250, that total divided by 4. The MBA row on the same profile is INR 99,500 and then INR 83,500 for each of three semesters, TOTAL PROGRAMME FEE INR 3,50,000 for 2 years. That MBA total is not the annual field.
