Engineering

• B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
• B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science)
• B.Tech Electronics and Communications Engineering
• B.Tech Information Technology
• B.Tech Electrical Engineering
• B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
• B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (AIML) is listed in the programme menu. The live fee table does not print a separate total for it.

B.Tech eligibility on the criteria page: at least 45 percent in the 10+2 examination, with a pass in English, Physics, and Mathematics, and in one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Technical Vocational Subject, including theory and practical where applicable. Lateral entry requires a diploma and JELET.

Management and computer applications

• MBA. The fee table has four semester rows, so the printed total covers two years. Eligibility: at least 50 percent in graduation. Exams named: MAT and JEMAT.
• BBA and BBA (Analytics). The BBA fee table has eight semester rows.
• MCA. Four semester rows. Eligibility: at least 50 percent in graduation, and at least one mathematics-related subject in graduation is named on the group FAQ. Exam named: WBJECA.
• BCA and BCA (AIML). The BCA fee table has eight semester rows. BCA (AIML) does not have its own total on the live fee table.

Tests named on the current admission procedure page

• B.Tech: WBJEE, conducted by the Government of West Bengal, and JEE Main. The page says 10 percent of seats are filled from JEE Main through centralised counselling, 80 percent from WBJEE through centralised counselling, and 10 percent through management quota, subject to course-wise approval. Lateral entry uses JELET.
• MCA: WBJECA.
• MBA: MAT and JEMAT. The criteria page names those two exams. A 2020-21 mandatory disclosure also described MBA seats as 15 percent through JEMAT counselling and 85 percent through MAT or CAT. That split is from the 2020-21 disclosure, not from the current procedure table.

The procedure page says dates for management and vacant seats are announced on the institute website. It does not print those dates.

Scholarships

The fee table prints an EWS fee and a Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) fee for B.Tech. It does not print a separate scholarship amount, a waiver percentage beyond the TFW row, or eligibility marks for a named scholarship. No other scholarship figure is stored.

Academic year 2024 placement record

The placement records page lists company-wise offers for 2024 across AEIE, CSE, CSE (Data Science), ECE, EE, IT, ME, MCA, and BCA. The grand total printed on that table is 298. The largest company totals on that table are Tata Consultancy Services 70, Rinex Technologies Private Limited 31, Accenture 23, and Cognizant 18. The page does not print a salary, a highest package, or a placement percentage.

The training and placement note names Prof. Tapas Roy as head of the department. The department describes communication-skill sessions from the first semester, mock aptitude, group discussion, and interview practice, and industry interaction.

An older placement-success list for the 2023 batch names companies including Cognizant, Mindtree, and TCS CodeVita. That list is a separate page and is not added into the 2024 total.

Cutoffs

The admission pages print eligibility percentages: at least 45 percent in 10+2 for B.Tech, and at least 50 percent in graduation for MBA and MCA. They do not print a WBJEE rank, a JEE Main percentile, a MAT score, or a closing rank. No cutoff number is stored.

Accreditation and NIRF

The NAAC page says Applied For NAAC. It does not print a grade, a CGPA, or a validity date.

The NIRF page links B.Tech and MBA data files for several years, including 2026, 2025, 2024, and 2023. It does not print a rank or a band. No rank is stored.

Notices on the FIEM site

• Flash news dated 24 July 2026: B.Tech first-semester classes commence from 6 August 2026.
• The same flash list also names a university rank-holder list for FIEM, a holiday list for 2026, and earlier even-semester notices for 2024-25. Those items do not print a rank number in the headline.
